A traditional project supervision methodology is known as a process that involves applying the various tools, techniques, and policies that will make it simpler for a director to manage lifespan cycle of a project. It concentrates on the three main areas of the project lifecycle – time, range, and cost — and helps managers understand how to perform their careers faster plus more efficiently. This method is best suited to projects which are not likely to involve heavy buyer input, just like software advancement.

Scrum draws on the concept of sprints, which are short cycles of management that provide frequent program corrections and faster delivery of immediate requests. Each sprint is assigned a fixed schedule and uniform amount of time, and is completed in priority order, in order to make sure the end system is what the customer is looking for. Unlike traditional task IT service provider preparing, which targets fixed scope and costs, the process of Scrum stimulates iterative decision-making based on current data.

The difference between Vintage PM and Scrum lies in dimensions and target. While Vintage PM has got greater granularity and is aimed at the monthly and regular activities of the project, Scrum has a better granularity and focuses more on daily and each week activities. This makes it easier to manage multiple tasks at once. This approach makes it easier to communicate with they, and it also allows management to slip the needs belonging to the customer.
